Donna Fargason owns Family Focus and operates the clinic alongside a team of incredibly talented and well-respected mental healthcare professionals.

After moving to Baton Rouge in 2002, Donna provided contract services in various clinical settings while building her own practice. Her vision for expanding the focus of healthcare to include a patient's entire family in the treatment experience served as the impetus for founding Family Focus.

Dr. Fargason’s practice consists mainly of conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing medication issues with children, teens and adults, but has expanded to include equine facilitated learning. Leading participants through groundwork with horses is an exciting modality which has proven both interesting and fruitful.

Juggling career and family can be difficult but is also rewarding. The pursuit of spiritual awareness and personal balance has helped shape Donna as a human, mother, wife and professional.
